Good questions

Before the party starts

What kind of events do you cater?

Private events and parties, including birthdays, graduations, backyard parties, office parties, and block parties. We also do fundraisers, festivals, and pop-ups.

How far in advance should I book?

Two weeks is usually enough. Weekends fill quickly, so earlier is always better.

What happens if it rains?

If rain makes outdoor cooking unsafe or impractical, we’ll first work with you to move the event to another available date. If rescheduling doesn’t work, we’ll issue a partial refund. Ingredients already purchased and preparation already completed are nonrefundable.

What happens if I cancel?

Cancel at least 72 hours before your event for a refund. Cancellations within 72 hours are nonrefundable.

What size are the pizzas?

Every PieZ pizza is an 11-inch pie.

How many pizzas should I order per person?

One 11-inch PieZ pizza feeds about two people—or one if you’re really hungry.

Do you offer gluten-free dough?

Gluten-free dough is available by request for private events only. It is not made in-house. Customers with allergies should contact PieZ before booking.

How much space does the oven need?

Depending on the party size, plan for a 15-by-10-foot or 15-by-15-foot outdoor setup area.

Can the oven be set up indoors?

The party can be indoors, but the oven and all cooking must stay outside.
